Balmer Hotel - Balmertown & Red Lake Accommodations
The Balmer Hotel was built in 1967. It has become a home away from home for many travellers as well as a popular local hangout ever since. After a few expansions and numerous renovations of the hotel over the years, the hotel now offers 45 deluxe rooms. We offer a couple types of rooms depending on your needss.
- Single rooms with one bed and a hide-a-bed sofa
- Double rooms with two beds
- Both rooms are available in smoking and non-smoking
- Single rooms with one bed, a hide-a-bed sofa and a table and chair area
- We also have handicap accessible friendly rooms
All rooms come equipped with:
- Air-conditioning
- Cable TV
- Telephone (Private message mailbox for each room, free local calls)
- Free High speed internet
- In-room fridge, coffee maker and microwave
- A wash and fold laundry service is available to guests upon request
- Bagged lunches can be ordered the night before and prepared for early morning pickup if needed.
The Balmer Hotel also provides a courtesy shuttle van. We will pick you up and drop you back off at the airport (or water base for the fishermen), give us a call to set up a ride for you.
The Balmer Hotel offers a fully licensed restaurant and lounge to our hotel guests, no need to look any farther for a great meal. The restaurant offers a full menu with favourites like breaded walleye, don't forget to take at look at our wine list. The dining room is open at 5:30 am every morning to start your day off with a hearty breakfast, and open until 10 pm for those late night meals and snacks. (Sundays and holidays closed at 9 pm) Meals are also available in the lounge, if you happen to prefer big screen TV's and sports while you eat
